Dillon on the way back

Dundee United remain hopeful that defender Sean Dillon will be back to face Aberdeen in their next SPL game.

Dublin-born Dillon has recently been sidelined with a calf problem and taking the opportunity to attend a coaching course as he works towards his own qualifications.

"Sean is one of those who have been away doing their badges but he has been coming back to see our physio, Jeff Clarke, to work on the injury," coach Gary Kirk told SkySports.

"We are hoping he will make it for Aberdeen because he is one of our more consistent performers."
