Terrors look for semi-final place

Terrors look for semi-final place

Dundee United entertain first division promotion chasers Falkirk in their Scottish Communities League Cup quarter-final on Tuesday evening.

The hosts are still without defender Sean Dillon, who is struggling with a calf injury and restricted to the sidelines alongside Danny Swanson and Scott Severin.

"Falkirk will set up to try to hit us on the counter-attack, so we'll have to be sharp defensively," manager Peter Houston warned BBC Scotland. "And we'll need to work on making better use of the ball in the final third to create more chances."

Falkirk were waiting over the availability of defender Thomas Scobbie after picking up a knock against Partick Thistle at the weekend.

Craig Sibbald is already ruled out and Rhys Bennet and Mark Millar are both suspended.
