Kenneth wants to leave United

Garry Kenneth has revealed he wants to leave Dundee United at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old centre-back is out of contract in the summer and has already told manager Peter Houston he is seeking a fresh challenge.

The Terrors previously rejected a derisory offer for his services from Blackpool last year but Kenneth remains keen to try his luck in the English Championship.

"There's nothing concrete, but I've been at the club eight years and it's time for a change," Kenneth told BBC Scotland. "I need new challenges; I need a fresh goal. That's something I'll look at over the next five or six months."

Kenneth originally made his debut in February 2005 and has since been capped at Scotland Under-21 level.
