Recovery delights Houston

Peter Houston was delighted at the resolve of his Dundee United side as they fought back superbly to win 3-2 at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The visitors trailed by two goals early in the second-half but substitute Johnny Russell led their recovery with a brace, added to by a Roman Golobart own-goal.

"Once we got the first goal, I thought we would come back, although we got a break for the second," Houston told BBC Scotland. "I think after that went in then there was only going to be one winner.

"I've gave the players a bit of a blast at half-time, but you could see the difference in our play in the second half," he added. "I felt, when we went to 2-1, that it was one of these feelings that we would go on and win the match.

"We did - we kept at it and it's a credit to the players and the fans who kept behind the players today. They were great."
