No change at United

Dundee United are set for an unchanged squad when entertaining Hibernian at Tannadice on Christmas Eve.

Midfielder Scott Robertson has recovered from illness and is ready for inclusion, while fellow schemer Danny Swanson is still out but should resume training next week. Long-term casualty Scott Severin remains sidelined with a broken leg.

The Tangerines will be looking to build upon an improved return of four points from their last couple of games - the latest of which came courtesy of an injury-time Paul Dixon equaliser at Kilmarnock.

"It's down to us to shut the door at the back," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "Hopefully we'll convert some of the chances that we are creating - I'd be worried if we weren't creating chances.

"I'm delighted with the players' effort and application and some of the play was outstanding last week," he added. "I'll be looking for the same again."

Hibs' latest signing Eoin Doyle is ineligible until January and midfielder Isaiah Osbourne is missing with an abductor muscle injury. But Leigh Griffiths returns from suspension.
