Game was a farce - Houston

Game was a farce - Houston

Peter Houston was adamant that Dundee United's game at St Mirren should have been postponed due to the excessively strong winds in Paisley.

The visitors eventually came away with a 2-2 draw after twice coming from behind through Jon Daly and Stuart Armstrong to retain sixth place in the table.

"I don't think the game should have been played, and I'd have said that even if we'd won 3-2 or 3-0," Houston told BBC Scotland. "It was a farce. With the amount of midweeks we've got free we've got plenty of time to play this game.

"Credit to the players who did their best, but it could've been better if we'd played on a nice night."
