Tangerines keen on striker

 Tangerines keen on striker

Dundee United are hoping to extend Finnish striker Lauri Dalla Valle's loan spell from Fulham.

Dalla Valle, 20, has made thirteen appearances and scored twice since arriving at Tannadice in August. He is due to return to West London in mid-January but has so far impressed manager Peter Houston during his stay.

"I haven't spoken to the boy or Fulham. I'd like to keep him to the end of the season," Houston told BBC Scotland. "He's got a great attitude, he's a wee bit unfortunate that Daly and Russell are starting to score goals, so he's not getting a starting position just now.

"I find it difficult to change guys that are scoring goals and he's not really had a wee sniff," he added. "I still like him enough that I'd keep him until the end of the season.'
