Tangerines set to sign midfielder

Dundee United are ready to sign Ross County midfielder Michael Gardyne on a pre-contract agreement.

The 25-year-old is set to agree a two-year deal with the Tangerines after spending the past four years in Dingwall following his arrival from Greenock Morton.

Dundee-born Gardyne has scored nine goals so far this season for the first division leaders.

The deal is expected to be announced later this week subject to a medical.
