Terrors wrap up at Motherwell

Terrors wrap up at Motherwell

Having assured their participation in the Europa League next season, Dundee United complete their league programme by visiting Motherwell on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 12.30pm).

The visitors have doubts over Robbie Neilson, Gavin Gunning and Barry Douglas, who are currently struggling and unlikely to be risked. Striker Milos Lacny is definitely ruled out due to a knee injury.

"I'll have a think about possible changes before coming to any decisions," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "However, irrespective of the teams I choose we'll be going there with only one thing on our minds which is to win the match.

"Motherwell are a very good team and deserve all the credit going for getting into the Champions League qualifying stages," he added. "But we still want to go out with a victory under our belt and I know I've got a good bunch of professionals in that sense. They've worked ever so hard throughout the whole of the campaign and I know they'll do the same on Sunday."

Motherwell skipper Stephen Craigan should return to action but Michael Higdon is suffering with a back injury and rated doubtful.
