Hibs opens new campaign

Dundee United have been given home advantage on the opening day of the new season as Hibernian visit Tannadice.

That game is on Sunday 5th August, twenty-four hours behind the rest and in between their Europa League play-off ties.

The Tangerines would have travelled to Celtic on the second weekend but that meeting has been postponed as the champions have a friendly against Real Madrid in Philadelphia.

United's next game is against Club 12 at home - as yet unnamed opposition due to the uncertainty over the future of Rangers.
