Terrors win in England

Dundee United won their latest pre-season run-out 3-1 at English Conference side Gateshead.

The visitors struck twice in the last twenty minutes through recent signings Mark Miller and Michael Gardyne.

Striker Johnny Russell had earlier given them the lead, which was cancelled out by a Yemi Odubade penalty early in the second-half.

United next face Dynamo Moscow in the Europa League third qualifying round first-leg on Thursday.
