We can cause shock - Houston

Peter Houston has called upon his Dundee United side to pull off a shock against Dynamo Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Russians are heading for Tannadice in the first-leg of the qualifier and Houston openly concedes his team as big underdogs in the tie.

However, stuttering Dynamo have already lost their opening two league matches and were beaten 2-0 by Zenit St Petersburg at the weekend.

"If we have a bit more belief in ourselves we might just surprise them," Houston reasoned to the Daily Record. "It's not a bad thing to be at home first. They are a top side but if we get through that game with a decent scoreline - and I reckon 0-0 is decent - we've got a chance going over there.

"It's important to remember that shocks happen in Europe," he warned.
