Houston disappointed at Moscow crash
Manager Peter Houston highlighted a lack of belief as Dundee United crashed out of the Europa League following a 5-0 defeat at Dynamo Moscow.
The visitors were never really in the contest and found themselves trailing 3-0 at the break before eventually going out of the competition 7-2 on aggregate.
The Tangerines had been looking to come back from a 2-2 draw in the first game at Tannadice last week against opponents who had since replaced their manager.
"We had the worst possible start, losing a goal after two minutes against a very good side," Houston told SkySports. "I said last night it works both ways from a change of manager and Dynamo played well for their new coach.
"They were just too strong for us physically and I was disappointed about the first half when we didn't believe in ourselves. We should have done better than we did," he added. "But I have to put things into perspective with the wealth and experience of the Russian side. We have a very, very young team."
