Newcomer working his way back

Newcomer working his way back

Latest signing Gregory Vignal believes he can bring plenty to the side once he fully gets back up to speed.

The 31-year-old Frenchman is currently working on his fitness following his recent arrival at Tannadice. He already has previous top level
experience at both Rangers and Liverpool and also trained with Montpellier over the summer.

"Don't expect me to be at the top level right from the start because I need time and I need games but hopefully week-to-week it will be better," Vignal told the Dundee Courier. "I played for Montpellier in a pre-season game four weeks ago and in total I played about six or seven pre-season games, so it's now just about training day-to-day and doing a little bit more week-to-week.

"I need a bit of time to get fully fit but in football you don't always get time," he continued. "But it's a great move for me, I'm very happy to be here. Dundee United are a good team and I've been impressed with what I've seen from the lads so far."
