We need to get sorted - Dillon

Dundee United defender Sean Dillon insists his side will fight to turn around a dismal sequence of five games with a victory.

A 4-0 weekend defeat at Inverness Caledonian Thistle sent the Tannadice club spinning further down the league with only local rivals Dundee now below them in the table.

"We just need to get ourselves sorted and get out of this small rut and make sure that we minimise it as much as we can," Dillon told the
Dundee Courier. "I'd like to think it's a temporary blip because it's been a bad one.

"We've lost seven goals in two games and even before that, even though we kept a couple of clean sheets, we weren't getting the win," he added. "But we need to stay positive and get our heads around getting out of it as soon as possible."

The Tangerines' first chance of doing that comes at recently deposed leaders Motherwell this weekend.
