'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dow seeking end to frustration

Dundee United forward Ryan Dow says his side are ready to get back on track against Aberdeen this weekend.

The Tangerines have been out of action since their heavy 4-0 defeat at Inverness Caledonian Thistle last month and will take to the pitch for
the first time in three weeks at Tannadice on Saturday.

That follows the dramatic late postponement of their recent game at Mothewell due to a power cut in the local area just before kick-off.

"It was extremely disappointing what happened at Motherwell," Dow told the Dundee Courier. "We had worked so hard that week in training and everyone was really raring to go.

"It was all about trying to get that bad result at Inverness the week before out of our system," he added. "We felt good and to have it postponed 10 minutes before kick-off left us all kick our heels in frustration."
