Tangerines seek to build in Paisley

Having started to get back on track last week, Dundee United are visiting St Mirren for their latest game in Paisley on Saturday afternoon.

New signing Rudi Skacel is unlikely to be involved as he is short of match fitness after being without a club since leaving Hearts at the end of last season.

Defender Gregory Vignal is another ruled out following a hamstring injury in midweek while forward Gary Mackay-Steven continues to recover from knee surgery.

"The Aberdeen game was nice to get back to putting on a good performance," Tangerines defender Sean Dillon told BBC Scotland. "We need to get sorted sooner rather than later and the quicker we kick on and start getting results the better."

The Buddies welcome back Thomas Reilly after missing their heavy home defeat to Celtic with ankle trouble.

But Paul McGowan, Darren McGregor and Grant Adam are all still out for the home side.
