Dundee United entertain leaders Celtic on Sunday afternoon no doubt aiming for a response following the disappointment of their midweek League Cup exit on penalties against Hearts.
Skipper Jon Daly is a doubt for the hosts after suffering a calf injury during that game while former Rangers defender Gregory Vignal is currently sidelined. The 31-year-old is still to make his debut for the club since signing a short-term deal back with them in September.
But the Tangerines were at least able to welcome back winger Gary Mackay-Steven after a frustrating spell out with a knee injury against the Edinburgh side.
"In many ways, it's probably the right kind of fixture for us in the wake of our cup defeat to Hearts," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "We know it will be very difficult against a really good Celtic side, but we've got to give it a go.
"I was more disappointed with the manner in which we lost to Hearts by not playing well like we know we can," he added. "But the players won't need motivation come Sunday as there will be a big crowd and a good atmosphere to get them going."
Celtic appear certain to be without forwards Georgios Samaras, James Forrest and Lassad due to injuries. Skipper Scott Brown and top scorer Gary Hooper are also likely to be rested ahead of their midweek Champions League meeting with Barcelona.
