'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We deserved that - Houston

Dundee United boss Peter Houston reckoned his side got nothing less than they deserved after a dramatic 2-2 draw with Celtic at Tannadice.

But the hosts required a late reply from substitute Gary Mackay-Steven to prompt an unlikely recovery that was incredibly completed deep into added time by an own goal from Celtic's Efe Ambrose.

"I think we were well worth that," Houston told BBC Scotland. "Great credit goes to our players because they showed the character that I know they've got.

"If we get performances like that we won't be too far away from having another decent season," he added. "Results like this sometimes can just kick-start your season."
