Reaction needed from United

Dundee United are in action this evening with a visit from mid-table Kilmarnock to Tannadice.

The Tangerines need to return to winning ways after their disappointing recent defeat to Hibernian. A victory would be sufficient to take them above their latest opponents in the table.

Right-back Keith Watson is doubtful after suffering a leg injury during that game but Barry Douglas is available again. French defender Gregory Vignal remains out.

"The players were very frustrated after losing to Hibs and we're obviously hoping to take some of that feeling into the Kilmarnock game," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "We were on the back foot and allowed Hibs to dictate to us, which wasn't like us. But Tannadice is different and we always seem to enjoy a night game."

Kilmarnock are without midfielder Rory McKenzie due to a groin injury while William Gros, Garry Hay and Danny Racchi are also currently sidelined.
