Hand of fate sidelines forward
Dundee United have suffered an injury blow with winger Gary Mackay-Steven being ruled out for at least a month with a fractured hand.
The 23-year-old has only recently returned to action following knee surgery but received the injury in the weekend victory at Ross County.
Mackay-Steven has been a regular at Tannadice since arriving from Airdrie in July of last year. He was recently rewarded with a contract extension running until the summer of 2015.
"He's going to be out for a minimum of four, maximum of six weeks," manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland. "It's a blow for us and a blow for the boy because he's just come back from a knee operation. It's not been a great start to the season for him."
