Terrors aim to build on weekend
Dundee United will be trying to build on their weekend success when entertaining Motherwell on Tuesday evening.
But the hosts must do so without the services of winger Gary Mackay-Steven after a fractured hand ruled him out for between 4-6 weeks.
However, manager Peter Houston was hoping defensive duo Sean Dillon and Gavin Gunning would recover from knocks in time to feature. But French defender Gregory Vignal won't be involved having now left the club for "family reasons".
'We're five points off the top of the table, with a game in hand over other teams, against Celtic," Hosuton told BBC Scotland. "It's nice to see we're at the top of the form guide. We've got 11 points from the last six games, equal with Inverness.
"Although we won the last game it was a very, very tight match that could've gone either way and a draw might've been a fair result," he warned.
Motherwell are currently one place higher than their hosts and in sixth position, but still missing defender Steven Saunders with a knee injury.
