Houston disappointed not to win
Dundee United manager Peter Houston was disappointed not to come away with a victory following the 2-2 draw at Aberdeen.
The visitors recovered from again conceding early to lead courtesy of Gavin Gunning and a Jamie Langfield own-goal until Niall McGinn equalised for the Dons from a disputed free-kick.
"I'm disappointed we didn't win the match," Houston told BBC Scotland. "The free-kick that led to Aberdeen equalising, I didn't think it was a foul. Indeed, I thought it was a foul our way. Jon Daly headed the ball and McGinn leaned into him with his back-side."
Houston had earlier named sixteen-year-old debutant John Souttar in his side before later replacing him with fellow teenager Darren Petrie.
"We bled a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old into the team and it was tough for them playing against a team who should, with the resources, finish second [in the SPL]," he added. "It bears well for the future because they're talented players."
