Defender needing helping hand

Defender needing helping hand

Dundee United defender Sean Dillon admits his side are continuing to seriously miss winger Gary Mackay-Steven.

The 23-year-old former Airdrie United forward has managed only ten appearances this season but could be back in action within a fortnight after fracturing his hand in November.

"You're always going to miss your best players - and Gaz is a top player," Dillon told the Daily Record. "The first couple of games he missed we still won them.

"Then, all of a sudden you lose one and people are saying that you're missing him," he continued. "But there is no doubt you need all your best players available."

Dillon himself only made his comeback last week after more than a month on the sidelines through injury.
