Tangerines consider international rescue
International pair Mixu Paatelainen and Michael O'Neill are amongst those names being considered to replace Peter Houston at Dundee United for next season.
Both are former United players and currently in charge of the Finland and Northern Ireland international sides respectively.
Tangerines chairman Stephen Thompson has already drawn up a short-list of names following Houston confirming his departure at the end of this season.
Other managers in contention include Falkirk's Steven Pressley, Derek Adams of Ross County, Peterhead's Jim McInally, Jackie McNamara of Partick Thistle, Alloa Athletic's Paul Hartley and ex-Bristol City chief Derek McInnes.
Meanwhile, former Terrors defender and one-time Livingston boss Gary Bollan is another described as very keen on the role.
