Hegarty leads United

Managerless Dundee United travel to Motherwell for their latest game on Tuesday evening.

Assistant manager Paul Hegarty and coach Gary Kirk take charge of a full-strength squad after Peter Houston left the club by mutual consent.

Former Czech Republic international Rudi Skacel could make his final appearance for the visitors as his contract is set to end on Wednesday.

Motherwell have concerns over goalkeeper Darren Randolph after suffering a hamstring injury in the victory against St Johnstone last time out.

"I doubt whether the new manager will be in place tomorrow but one thing about Dundee United is that they have an experienced squad," Well manager Stuart McCall told BBC Scotland. "I'm sure a lot of them will be disappointed to see Peter go but they knew it was going to happen sometime."
