Rivals clash in quarters

Dundee United are to travel to city rivals Dundee in the last eight of the Scottish Cup.

The rivals were paired together in Sunday's draw after the Dark Blues easily disposed of Morton 5-1 in their fifth round game at Dens Park.

The Tangerines have already twice defeated Dundee 3-0 in the SPL this season and also recorded the same scoreline in an earlier friendly between the sides.

Elsewhere, favourites Celtic travel to St Mirren, who recently accounted for them in their Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final.

The other ties are Kilmarnock hosting Hibernian, while Hamilton Academical welcome Falkirk - with games to be played over the weekend of 2nd March.
