We deserved our reward - McNamara
Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara felt his side could have even gone on and won it after Johnny Russell's late penalty rescued a draw against Hibernian at Tannadice.
The Tangerines had earlier failed to build upon John Rankin's sixth-minute opener as James McPake and Leigh Griffiths proceeded to turn the contest around in the visitors' favour.
"The negatives were losing two goals from set-pieces," McNamara told BBC Scotland. "But the lads had attitude to keep going to the final whistle. Even at 2-2, we went to try and get the winner."
Meanwhile, McNamara wouldn't be drawn on the late penalty decision, which Hibs believed had occurred just outside the box when Ryan McGivern tripped Gary Mackay-Steven.
"To be honest, I didn't see if it was on the line or round about it," he added. "But there were a few things I didn't think went our way today and that was one that was. I though we merited the point in the end."
