High hopes for Terrors
Dundee United are in the Highlands this evening when taking on second-placed Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Defender Gavin Gunning remains sidelined following recent knee surgery while latest signing Marcus Tornstrand won't be involved yet as he is understandably short of match fitness.
"We know it will be nothing other than a difficult game," manager Jackie McNamara told BBC Scotland. "It will be a test for the lads and we have to start the game better than we did against Hibs when we were slow to get going.
"Having watched Inverness, it's clear they have had good legs and can get about the park so they are dangerous opponents," he warned. "But we have to focus on our own strengths and hopefully take the game to them."
Caley defender Gary Warren misses his first game of the season through suspension but Josh Meekings has recovered from a back injury.
Otherwise, skipper Richie Foran remains a serious doubt with knee trouble while both Simon King and Chris Hogg are definite absentees.
