Rangers face competition for skipper
Rangers will face competition for skipper Jon Daly's services according to Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara.
The 30-year-old striker is out of contract at Tannadice this summer and the Glasgow club have already given indications they wish to offer him a pre-contract for next season.
"I don't think it is a surprise," McNamara told stv.tv. "I think Jon has been a great player for Dundee United in his time here.
"I think it's credit to him that he's highly sought after and I'm not surprised, it's not just Rangers," he added. "He's our captain and he's here until the end of the season at least and hopefully he'll continue to do good work for us."
Daly has already netted 70 goals in 194 games for the Terrors since arriving from Hartlepool United just over six years ago.
