Tangerines search for final flourish

Dundee United are in action at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in their final away game of the season.

The Tangerines approach the contest on the back of three straight defeats since the recent SPL top-six split.

Their cause isn't helped by defensive quartet Keith Watson, Sean Dillon, Gavin Gunning and Barry Douglas all being unavailable, although top scorer Johnny Russell has recently returned to action.

But the visitors will still be hoping for a timely boost ahead of finally closing their season at home to champions Celtic next weekend.

"We don't have much to play for anymore in the league," United striker Rory Boulding told BBC Scotland. "But we've got a new manager in and I've got everything to play for in terms of impressing him and showing that we want to be part of his plans next season. I'm only contracted to the end of this season, so I will have to find out about my future soon."

Caley have right-back David Raven returning from suspension but fellow defenders Gary Warren and Simon King remain sidelined.
