Skipper set for Rangers

Skipper set for Rangers

Dundee United skipper Jon Daly is expected to join Rangers next week.

The 30-year-old striker agreed on a move to Ibrox following discussions which started last January.

Daly scored fifteen goals in 43 games for United last season but is out of contract this summer. MK Dons and Hibernian had also shown an interest in his services.

He should though still sign for Rangers next week, although their current transfer embargo won't allow Daly to register with them until the beginning of September.
