Striker agrees Rangers switch

Striker agrees Rangers switch

Dundee United skipper Jon Daly will complete his move to Rangers on 1st September.

The 33-year-old striker is out of contract at Tannadice and has agreed an Ibrox deal running until the end of the 2014-15 season.

Rangers are currently under a transfer embargo and can't register new players until September, although Daly would be allowed to feature as a trialist prior to then.

"The ambition is to play in front of 45,000 to 50,000 fans every second week, you don't get in Scotland unless you play for Celtic," Daly told stv.tv. "It is also a challenge to get a big club back to where they should be, in the top division."
