United make settlement
Dundee United have settled on a financial compensation with Partick Thistle over the loss of their management team in January.
The Tangerines had initially withdrawn their £80,000 offer in May following manager Jackie McNamara and assistant Simon Donnelly arriving at Tannadice.
From their perspective, Thistle had requested a single payment be made instead of two instalments.
"Dundee United and Partick Thistle advise that a full and final settlement has been agreed in respect of financial claims arising from the resignations of Jackie McNamara and Simon Donnelly earlier this year,"' said a statement released on United's official website.
"All parties were keen to resolve the situation amicably, without the need for arbitration, and all are pleased that the matter is now closed."
