Joining United a privilege says striker

Dundee United's new striker Kudus Oyenuga decided on a move to Tannadice within minutes of discussing terms with manager Jackie McNamara.

Oyenuga and fellow former Tottenham Hotspur trainee Calum Butcher both committed their immediate futures to the Tayside club earlier this month.

"When I spoke to the gaffer before I signed my contract, he was very clear about the direction he wanted the club to go in and what he expected of me," he told the Dundee Evening Telegraph. "He's very open and so are all the coaches. You can go and talk to them about things that are on your mind and any problems you have.

"They want to help you and improve your game," the 20-year-old forward added. "They're not the kind of people you're scared to go and raise something with up to now it has been a privilege to work for them."
