More to come from striker

More to come from striker

Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci insists the best is yet to come from him at Tannadice.

The Dutch-born Turk weighed in with a goal while helping United to an impressive 4-2 victory at Ross County over the weekend. But it was his all-round performance that will have most pleased the travelling supporters.

"I have made a good start to my United career but there is more to come from me," Ciftci told the Dundee Courier. "Every day when I train and in every match I play I develop further as a player.

"I am progressing all the time. Since I have been here I haven't played up top in attack yet, going either to the left or the right, so I enjoyed being an out-and-out striker against Ross County," he continued. "I am so grateful to the other boys for being really helpful, and the coaches have been great, too. We have a really young team but we understand each other really well and I am loving being a part of that."
