Boss pleased at sharing

Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara is delighted at seeing the goals being shared around his free-scoring team.

Five players have netted five goals so far this season, namely attacking quartet Gary Mackay-Steven, Ryan Gauld, Nadir Ciftci and Stuart Armstrong, plus left-back Andrew Robertson.

"We have a lot of options going forward,' McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "I think that's five lads scored five goals this year which for me is really pleasing. Armstrong has five, Mackay-Steven, Gauldy, Nadir and of course our left-back!

"I'd like to say it was something I banked on when I signed him but it is still a great bonus for Andrew," he added. "It is really refreshing but I am equally happy with the defensive side of his game."
