Tangerines chase fifth straight win

Third-placed Dundee United will be determined to extend their tremendous recent form when visiting Kilmarnock this weekend.

The visitors have won their previous four games in spectacular style, scoring seventeen goals in the process - including five against their latest opponents in the Scottish Cup.

Striker Nadir Ciftci is a doubt with a hamstring problem after completing his recent suspension. But centre-back Gavin Gunning could return having recovered from a knee injury.

"It's just a case of trying to keep doing the things which have got us into this position," manager Jackie McNamara told BBC Scotland. "They're all level-headed lads who work hard at their game and I would expect them to continue doing so.

"It's always good when you're playing well and winning and we would never get ahead of ourselves," he warned. "We're confident going into every game and that won't change. But the key is to keep focused on the job and make sure we give everything in terms of effort and application."

Manual Pascali and Darren Barr return from suspension and injury respectively for the home side. But David Silva remains doubtful and James Fowler and Ismael Bouzid are both out.
