Manager unconcerned by interest

Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara isn't particularly concerned by other clubs watching his leading prospects.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez was the latest at Tannadice watching the 2-2 draw with Hibernian on Sunday afternoon.

Already the likes of Ryan Gauld, John Souttar, Stuart Armstrong, Andrew Robertson and Gary Mackay-Steven have been earning regular plaudits for their displays this season.

"It's part of the game these days. You can't get away from it," McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "There will be more of it in the next few weeks so I'll be happy when the window shuts.

"As far as I'm concerned, it's important that we keep them all so they can continue to learn their trade here."
