Striker could join Dons

Former Dundee United striker David Goodwillie could switch allegiances to Aberdeen until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old recently scored six times in 22 games after returning on loan to Tannadice from Blackburn Rovers.

However, the Tangerines opted against extending that six-month spell and he may now move instead to Pittodrie.

Goodwillie previously helped United to a famous Scottish Cup triumph in 2010 and netted 40 times in 136 games for them.
