Striker faces lay-off

Dundee United striker Brian Graham will miss at least the next three weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage at the weekend.

The 26-year-old centre-forward picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Sunday afternoon.

The Tangerines are already without Turkish marksman Nadir Ciftci due to hamstring trouble while on loan David Goodwillie has recently returned to Blackburn Rovers.

However, fellow striker Farid El Alagui arrived on loan from Brentford last week and was a weekend replacement for Graham, who moved to United in the summer having scored 27 goals in 41 games for Raith Rovers last season.
