High life for United

High life for United

More Highlands action for Dundee United as they chase a first win in six games at Ross County this weekend.

Manager Jackie McNamara has chosen to rest highly-rated teenage duo Ryan Gauld and John Souttar while striker Brian Graham is sidelined with ankle ligament trouble.

Elsewhere, defensive pair Gavin Gunning and Mark Wilson, plus striker Nadir Ciftci, remain doubtful for the visit to Dingwall.

"We know it will be a very tough afternoon," McNamara told BBC Scotland. "There is never an easy game in Dingwall and this weekend will be no different.

"Our players know that and they know what to expect," he added. "We've got to be ready to match them in every respect if we want to come back down the road with the kind of result we are after."

The Staggies could give a debut to former Notts County striker Yoann Arquin, although midfielder Stuart Kettlewell misses out through suspension and defender Steven Saunders is similarly unavailable.
