Surprise exit from Tannadice

Dundee United midfielder Chris Erskine has completed a surprise return to Partick Thistle on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old managed only nine appearances since arriving from Thistle last summer, with five of them coming from the bench while starting the last couple of games.

Erskine will go straight into the squad for the rearranged Premiership meeting with St Johnstone tomorrow evening.

He previously made over 150 appearances and scored 32 goals for the Firhill club.
