Duo back from break

Duo back from break

Dundee United's bright young prospects Ryan Gauld and John Souttar are back at the club following a well-deserved mid-winter break.

The talented teenage duo were allowed a short Spanish holiday to help recharge their batteries following a busy programme for them both.

"Gauld and Souttar will be back from their break," manager Jackie McNamara told the Dundee Courier. "I have spoken to them on the phone while they have been away.

"No doubt they will get a bit of stick off the boys but I believe it was the best thing for them," he added. "I hope they are refreshed and have taken stock of what they have done not just in the last six months but last season as well when they played in the semi-final at a very young age."
