Defender agrees new deal
Defender Mark Wilson has agreed an eighteen-month extension at Dundee United.
The 29-year-old former Celtic full-back is in his second spell at Tannadice having been released by Bristol City at the end of last season.
He was initially given a six-month deal which is being extended following Wilson making a dozen appearances and contesting a right-back slot with Keith Watson this season.
"I think we've agreed on the rest of this season and next season and I have to get across to Tannadice to sign it," Wilson told BBC Scotland. "It's good for me to have that kind of stability behind me and know I'm going to be in the one place for a season-and-a-half.
"It was always the case that, when I secured a place in the team here, I would be looking for a longer-term deal," he added. "I came here without a club, training and the manager gave me a chance to come here and play for six months and prove myself."
