Midfielder targets more glory

Midfielder targets more glory

Dundee United midfielder Morgaro Gomis is hopeful of another Scottish Cup final appearance with the Tannadice club.

The 28-year-old was a member of the side that lifted the trophy back in May 2010 following a 3-0 victory against Ross County at Hampden Park.

"I have a lot of good memories from 2010. Winning the cup was really nice for the fans, the players and everybody connected with Dundee United," Gomis told the Dundee Courier. "When we got to the semi-final, that's when we started thinking if we can win that game then we will be in the final. The semi-final is something special.

"I don't see why we cannot go all the way again," he added. "We will just take it game by game and see what happens, but I really think we can do it."
