Defender thrilled with debut

Dundee United's Andrew Robertson was thrilled to make his senior international debut during Scotland's 1-0 victory in Poland.

The nineteen-year-old full-back appeared as a 67th minute substitute as the visitors prevailed courtesy of skipper Scott Brown's winner.

This time last year the highly-rated Robertson was playing as an amateur for bottom tier Queen's Park.

"It's a bit crazy to look at the stadium I was playing in and the players I was playing with," Robertson told BBC Scotland. "It's just about having the confidence in yourself and a good family background behind you. That pushed me on.

"I've just got to finish strong for Dundee United this season, starting with a massive game on Sunday in the Scottish Cup."
