Boss Craig Brewster still has the support of Dundee United's players, according to keeper Derek Stillie.
Stillie was one of several players who held a meeting on Monday (Oct 23) at the same time Brewster was meeting chairman Eddie Thompson.
Stillie told the Press and Journal that the meeting was not something the players would normally do, but they did due to the circumstances. The Arabs lost 3-1 to Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday and are currently bottom of the SPL.
Brewster was handed a reprieve by Thompson - but he knows he needs to improve his record of just two league wins in 27 games (see here).
Stillie said: 'We talked about a lot of things as a group then we spoke to the coaching staff and it was all very positive. We are a conscientious bunch. People may think we just turn up and think 'well, we got beat so what?' but that's not the case at all.
'We are aware the situation needs to be addressed quickly. There are no splits in the camp, everyone is together. Being bottom of the league does not only reflect badly on the manager, it says a lot about us as players.
'What we've produced lately has not been good enough. There's no hiding from that and we must improve.'
