United defender wins award

Dundee United's highly-rated left-back Andrew Robertson has been crowned PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.

The talented 20-year-old proved a virtual ever-present in defence since arriving from Queen's Park last summer.

His form was so outstanding that Robertson earned his first Scotland senior cap in the March friendly win against Poland in Warsaw.

Fellow Tangerines Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Gauld, plus St Johnstone striker Stevie May, were also nominated.
