Rapid ticket sales

Tickets for the forthcoming Scottish Cup final between Dundee United and St Johnstone are selling fast after going on sale this week.

Already 26,000 have been sold on the first day for the hugely-anticipated clash of the Tayside rivals at Celtic Park on 17th May.

Both clubs reported long queues outside their respective ticket offices in the early hours of Monday.

The Tangerines have sold around 16,000 so far, with the Saints, in their first cup final, nearer to 10,500.
